It was a truly a Malaysian Family Doctors show at the recent WONCA Asia Pacific Regional Council Meeting 2021 on 13th Nov 2021 (Saturday). 

The meeting was graciously officiated by the AFPM Royal Patron, D.Y.M.M. Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.

For the session of 2021-2023, three of our members has been elected to the WONCA Asia Pacific Regional Council as Executives. They are:

1. President: A/Prof Dr Mohammad Husni Jamal

2. Honorary Secretary: Dr Kaviyarasan a/l Sailin

3. The Rajakumar Movement Chair: Dr Wong Ping Foo

In the same meeting, the winners of the prestigious award for WONCA Asia Pacific Region were announced. Both winners are our members as well. They are:

1. Five ⭐️ Doctor Award: Prof Datuk Dr Sheikh Mohd Amin

2. Young Doctor Rising ⭐️ Award: Dr Noor Harzana Harrun 
    

Adding to this, Dr Noor Harzana Harrun also won the inaugural WONCA World Rising Star 2021 Award in which the Award Giving Ceremony will be held in the upcoming WONCA World Conference 2021 in Abu Dhabi (Virtual).
