Advanced Training in Family Medicine (ATFM)
After successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Family Medicine (GCFM), candidates may embark on further professional development by enrolling in the Advanced Training in Family Medicine Programme for a further two years. The training prepares for the postgraduate qualification of the MAFP/icFRACGP (International Conjoint FRACGP) from intake 2019 onwards which is registrable as a specialist qualification under the NSR.
This Programme is designed to upgrade standard of care in Family Practice and to increase awareness of the global trend towards the provision of continuing and comprehensive care by the Family doctor, who can provide the most cost effective care for any population.
Conjoint MAFP/FRACGP Part 1 Examination
Date: 22nd & 23rd February 2020
Venue: Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya

2ND JANUARY 2020 (The closing date is now extended to 13TH JANUARY 2020): For all Part 1 repeat candidates and those who passed July 2019 Eligibility Examination,
23RD JANUARY 2020: ONLY for Part 1 first attempt candidates who passed the January 2020 Eligibility Examination.
Late applicants strictly will NOT be accepted.
Please be informed that all candidates hold their own responsibility to meet the closing dates for entry and exam applications. Late applications will not be entertained by AFPM. AFPM will not be sending reminders to resit candidates to apply for their examination.
