The Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM) proudly presents the Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) 2026, themed “Redefining Family Medicine with Digital Health Technology”.
This conference serves as a platform for healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and researchers to examine the transformative role of digital innovation in primary care practice. It emphasizes how the integration of digital tools, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance healthcare delivery by enabling efficient, data-driven, and patient-centred care.
ASC 2026 will address the evolving role of digital health in supporting cardiometabolic prevention, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), maternal and child health, and geriatric care. As family physicians, we stand at the forefront of healthcare evolution: telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and digital tools to enhance delivery of care, continuous education, while maintaining the compassion, trust and humanity expected of our profession.
