The Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM) proudly presents the Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) 2026, themed “Redefining Family Medicine with Digital Health Technology”.
This conference serves as a platform for healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, and researchers to examine the transformative role of digital innovation in primary care practice. It emphasizes how the integration of digital tools, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance healthcare delivery by enabling efficient, data-driven, and patient-centred care.
ASC 2026 will address the evolving role of digital health in supporting cardiometabolic prevention, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), maternal and child health, and geriatric care. Over three days, participants will engage in keynote sessions, symposia, and expert discussions aimed at exploring practical applications and strategies that strengthen family medicine and improve population health outcomes in Malaysia.

This conference offers insights into current and future use of digital health technology, which can support best practices, updates, and strengthen our commitment to cost-effective patient-centered care and satisfaction.
